Abstract
This monograph will consider not only the technical aspects of performance appraisal such as the characteristics of forms, the way to treat members, the uses of appraisal information, but also the human problems involved i.e., the reactions of supervisors and subordinates to a system, the motivational properties of a performance appraisal system, and so forth.
