As Chief Financial Officer, Anne Taggart leads NPI’s Finance & Administration team and is responsible for the financial strategy, systems, and stewardship that safeguard the Institute’s resources and enable its expansion into commercial research services and technology. She partners closely with the President, board of directors, and senior leadership to align planning, controls, and infrastructure with NPI’s next chapter: a diversified revenue model built on more than 50 years of policing research and practice.

Anne brings 20+ years of finance and leadership experience across mission-driven and high-growth organizations including LEE, CommonLit, Chrysalis, Lightspeed Voice, Feathr, and Grassroot Soccer. Across sectors, she is a trusted advisor to boards and executive teams, and is known for building high-performing teams, transforming operations, and turning complex financial information into clear, actionable strategy.

In addition to post-graduate accounting and finance studies at Franklin Pierce University, Anne holds a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology from the University of North Dakota and a Bachelor of Music from the University of Hartford.
