Bio

Elizabeth Fontaine is the Senior Accounting Manager at the National Policing Institute (NPI). A seasoned finance professional with more than 15 years of accounting, finance services, and office management experience in various sectors. Ms. Fontaine plays a critical role in the day-to-day financial operations of the agency. She manages with a focus on maximum operation impacts with minimum resource expenditures.

Prior to working at NPI, she served as the Accounting and Office Manager at Michael & Son Services, the largest residential construction service company on the east coast. She also charted the successful development and implementation of service and finance divisions increasing the company’s revenue by $30 million in the first three years. During her years at Tech Systems, a government contractor serving the Federal Government and the U.S. Military, Ms. Fontaine served as the liaison for the financial relationships between the agencies and the government contractor.

A native Virginian, Elizabeth received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting at George Mason University. Elizabeth volunteers as an ESOL tutor at the Literacy Volunteers of America in Prince William County and as an art instructor.
