Bio

Jeanine Burchard joined the National Policing Institute as the Program Specialist for Operations and Finance for the International Programs Division, focusing on INL’s Mexico Police Professionalization Program. In this role, she focuses on internal program operations and finances, working closely with the division’s director and staff, as well as other NPI divisions and teams, to ensure a highly responsive, accurate and complete picture of project operations and financial matters.

Prior to joining NPI, Jeanine worked at the National Sheriffs’ Association, the Pretrial Justice Institute, and the International Association of Chiefs of Police. In these positions, she provided administrative and programmatic support to a wide variety of projects including organizational assessments, technical assistance projects, executive searches, and promotional testing. Additional responsibilities included meeting and event planning, grants management, editorial support, and board liaison work.

Jeanine has a bachelor’s degree in History and Historic Preservation from the University of Mary Washington.
