Abstract

Technology has provided numerous benefits to law enforcement, increasing operational efficiency as well as officer and public safety. This guidebook is intended to help agencies decide whether to acquire a small unmanned aircraft system, and how to develop policies and procedures which will ensure public support, avoid potential pitfalls, and build community trust.
